Ben O'Donnell

Ben O’Donnell joined Wine Spectator in 2009 and was promoted to WineSpectator.com associate editor in 2014.

As an archaeology student in Italy and Greece, O'Donnell was introduced to the pleasures of vino da tavola. After graduating from Dartmouth College, he was hired to write a travel blog for the Francis Ford Coppola Presents brand, touring the major wine regions of France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain.

O’Donnell has managed WineSpectator.com’s weekly Unfiltered column, covering drinks in pop culture, since 2017; he also edits the wine and dining interview sections, and contributes news and features.
