The holidays are here! That means decorations, delicious dinners, lots of gifts and decisions about which wines to buy. After all, a great bottle can be the star of the holiday table for wine lovers (and wine accessories are excellent gift options, hint, hint).
This year, boxed wine leader Franzia Wines is taking holiday vino to a new level. Following the launch of its hair coloring collaboration and official Halloween costumes, Franzia recently released a Limited-Edition Cabernet Sauvignon Holiday Box ($22). This boxed wine wears a seasonal sweater design and, as if that wasn't delightfully festive enough, you can purchase matching knitwear: Franzia's Cabernet Sauvignon Holiday Sweater ($65) comes complete with sewn-on "wine-swirl" scarf and blinking lights.
"The holidays are all about the more the merrier—and Franzia is your perfect party companion this holiday season,” said Franzia brand manager Amy Navor in a statement. “Our Franzia Cabernet Sauvignon Limited-Edition Box is a gift made to share, with a built-in gift tag on front.”
Can't Get Enough Cheeky Box Wine Memorabilia?
The Cabernet sweater is just one part of Franzia’s line of festive wintertime items. You can also buy Cabernet and Chardonnay boxed wine tree ornaments, inflatable snow globe lawn ornaments based on Franzia’s Chillable Red and Crisp White boxes, and two more lawn inflatables based on its Cabernet Sauvignon and Sunset Blush boxes (both wearing Santa hats). There’s also wrapping paper, a scarf, socks, sleepwear and even more sweaters that celebrate boxed wine.
"We're thrilled to release our holiday merch collection that gets our Franz (that's Franzia for "friends") feeling festive, and also allows them to showcase their holiday spirit in a uniquely Franzia way.”
Now it’s just a matter of clearing out space in your closet next to those latke, gingerbread and eggnog sweaters. Happy holidays!
