Entering the Restaurant Awards
If you've got a good wine list, you deserve the credibility and publicity that comes with a Wine Spectator Restaurant Award. The links below tell you everything you need to know about our Restaurant Awards program, including how to enter, how to renew and the criteria for each award level.
The 2024 submission window is now closed; thanks to all the great restaurants that applied!
We will be announcing winners in late June and featuring them in our August issue, available in July. As of May 20, entrants should have received an email about their award application status; if not, please contact us at restaurantawards@mshanken.com.

Renewals: Restaurants that have previously earned a Wine Spectator award
To renew a Restaurant Award, you are required to complete an online application for which you will need the following:
- Digital copies of your wine list and dinner menus
- A form of payment for the entry fee (check or credit card)
- Cover letter (optional)
- Three images of the restaurant (optional)
- Headshot of the restaurant's wine director or sommelier (optional)
