In the heart of Napa Valley's Rutherford AVA, fifth-generation grapegrower Chris Morisoli is preparing to prune his family's 110-year-old Zinfandel parcel. He tells us about the mustard and other cover crops growing in the vineyard, and his pruning philosophy with these very old Zinfandel vines. The family will bottle the wine from this parcel for the first time with the 2023 vintage.
